This application simulates the functionality of a RISC OS 3.1 Printer: device window
where printer-ready files such as printout files can be dropped to be printed by the
current printer
This could be a simplification for printout files imported from, say, a PC.
It is up to the user to make sure that the file is a suitable one - it will be sent
to the printer stream as a stream of bytes regardless!
The program now allows an Options menu item to enable/disable the sending of a
formfeed at the end of the print job, and the filetyping of the source file to
Printout (&ff4).
It will also, co-incidentally, allow the printing of PC-type text files with the
CR+LF line endings without double-line spacing them.
The program uses the DrWimp WIMP library.
